These terms apply to your use of the PepperVale online store and to purchases made through it. PepperVale is the trading name of FLEETA LIMITED, a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 16675897), registered office: 50 Princes Street, Ipswich, England, IP1 1RJ. VAT registration number: GB512508129.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from this website. If you do not agree, please do not use the store.
1. Our role and our products
PepperVale is a UK online retailer and curated dropshipping store. Products may be fulfilled and dispatched by carefully selected independent suppliers. The supplier may appear on your dispatch or tracking information, but your retail contract is with FLEETA LIMITED trading as PepperVale. Product descriptions, images, colours, measurements and availability are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Supplier images and colours can vary by screen, lighting and production batch; product-specific information takes priority.
2. Products, prices and VAT
Prices shown to UK consumers are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Shipping charges, delivery estimates and any applicable destination charges are shown at checkout. We may correct obvious pricing, description or availability errors. If an obvious error affects an order, we will contact you and give you the choice to reconfirm the order at the correct information or cancel it for a full refund.
3. Orders and payment
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. We will acknowledge the order and accept it when we send an order confirmation or otherwise confirm acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, a payment is not authorised, fraud or misuse is suspected, an obvious error has occurred, or we cannot deliver to the selected destination. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the amount paid.
You must provide accurate billing, delivery and contact information. You authorise the payment method used for the order and agree to pay the price, delivery charges and taxes shown at checkout.
4. Delivery
Delivery estimates are shown on the product page, at checkout or in your order information. Estimates can vary by supplier, destination and carrier. We will keep you informed where a supplier or carrier reports a material delay. Unless a different period is agreed with you, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable UK consumer law. If the order does not arrive within the agreed period, contact us through the PepperVale contact form so we can investigate and provide the remedy required by law.
Where an order contains products supplied separately, they may arrive in separate parcels and at different times. Risk in goods remains with PepperVale until the goods come into your physical possession or the possession of a person you identify to receive them, except where the law provides otherwise.
5. Returns, refunds and faulty goods
Our Return and refund policy explains the practical return route for each order. It does not limit your statutory rights. If goods are faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose or otherwise do not conform to the contract, contact us through the contact form with your order details and we will provide the remedy required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
6. Consumer cancellation
For most goods bought online, you have a legal right to cancel without giving a reason during the 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you nominate, receives the goods. You then normally have a further 14 days to send the goods back. We will refund the price and standard outbound delivery charge within the period required by law, subject to the statutory rules about return of the goods and any permitted deduction for handling beyond what is needed to inspect them. We may wait to refund until the goods are returned or you provide evidence of return.
Some products are excluded from or may lose cancellation rights under UK law, including goods made to your specifications, personalised goods, sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons where unsealed, and other statutory exceptions. The product page or checkout information will identify relevant restrictions where applicable.
You may cancel by using our online contact form and stating your name, order number and that you wish to cancel. You may use the following wording: “I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the sale of the following goods: [describe goods], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].”
7. Our legal responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are responsible only for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. We are not responsible for business losses where you are a consumer, or for events outside our reasonable control.
8. Website content and acceptable use
We own or licence the content used on this website. You may use it for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape it unlawfully, or use it to send spam or fraudulent information. We may suspend access where necessary to protect the store, customers or our service providers.
9. Third-party services and links
Shopify, payment providers, carriers, suppliers and other service providers help us operate the store. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy information. A third-party link is provided for convenience and does not mean that PepperVale endorses or controls that website.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy policy. Shopify hosts the store and processes information for us and as an independent provider for some services. Please review the privacy policy for details of purposes, lawful bases, suppliers, international transfers, retention and your rights.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The version displayed when you place an order applies to that order, subject to any mandatory consumer rights. These terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you also retain the benefit of any mandatory protections that apply in your part of the UK. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
